Create and Connect
The focus of our Create and Connect workshops is “Art for Wellbeing”.
Through guided tutelage in painting, drawing, collage, textiles, sculpture and other disciplines we find the enjoyment within the process of creating. Using a variety of fun and experimental techniques participants are encouraged to find a path of expression in which their own personal creative flower blooms.
Within the program year we will be engaging in exhibitions in- house and within the community, to further enhance the confidence and experience of Create and Connect participants.

We are fortunate to have Care Vaughan as the Art Facilitator. Besides being a talented graphic artist, she has also received advanced mentorship from Illuminart’s Leading Lights project, in the high level process of devising and managing a community arts project featuring digital media public outcomes.

This term’s themes :
It takes many smaller pieces to make up the BIGGER picture.
A diverse group of artists expressing their passion for creative living in this eclectic exhibition inspired by the connection we make withing communities we live and love in.
The SALA exhibition – Opening Launch Thursday 16th August, 2018 from 6 – 8.30 pm. All welcome .
Painting – Drawing – Sculpture – Poetry
We will be exploring the world of our friends and creating works inspired by their personality, environment and how they affect and connect with us in the world.
Workshops are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am-2:00pm
